Colin Sahlman, a junior at Newbury Park High, shares how he and his Newbury Park Athletic Club teammates are treating the Nov. 15 race at the XC Town USA Meet of Champions, presented by The Garrett Companies, as a national championship opportunity like they did last December at Nike Cross Nationals in Oregon. Sahlman is targeting a top-three individual finish at the LaVern Gibson championship course in Terre Haute, Ind., to lead Newbury Park to another victory against an elite national field like Oct. 2 at the Desert Twilight Festival in Arizona.
