Sean Brosnan, head coach at Newbury Park High, examines the improvement of his student-athletes since their memorable performance Oct. 2 at the Desert Twilight Festival in Arizona in preparation for their next challenge Nov. 15 at the XC Town USA Meet of Champions, presented by The Garrett Companies, at the LaVern Gibson course in Terre Haute, Ind. Brosnan and his Newbury Park Athletic Club athletes are approaching the event like a national championship opportunity and treating it with the significance of being their final cross country of the year.
