Sophia Grant, a sophomore at Newbury Park High in California, took third at the Marmonte League finals by covering the 3-mile layout in 18:22.58 at Agoura High. Grant, who improved from fifth place at last year's finals, helped the Panthers place second to Oaks Christian by a 27-43 margin.
