Brayden Seymour, a Furman-bound senior at Newbury Park High in California, won the boys invitational mile in a personal-best 4:08.67 at the Meet of Champions Distance Classic at Azusa Pacific University. Seymour achieved a 1,600-meter split of 4:07.16, also a lifetime-best mark.
